Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP Affiliate Platform › WP Affiliates – HTML-coded links not working.
Tagged: email settings, wp affiliates
I recently tried to update my Affiliate Signup Email to include a email link for further help and to include a link for our Facebook group. However, when I tested the email with a testing account none of the href code worked in the email and only the “naked” link was clickable. I read on here HTML code was acceptable in the email, but either I’m using the wrong code or I’m just not adding it right. Any help is appreciated.
Here’s the code I’m using for the links.
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/GoldenLeashAffiliates">Golden Leash Affiliates</a>
<a href="mailto:AffiliateCustomerCare@GoldenLeashPetProducts.com">Affiliate Customer Care</a>
Edited to put in backticks for code
The affiliate plugin doesn’t do HTML emails at this stage:

Simply put the URL directly in the email and that will become a clickable link.
Below is an example of what you can put in the email and that URL will be a link that the recipient can click on:
