We’re able to create manual orders in woocommerce for non-affiliates, but not affiliates.
We have been unable to find a workaround for this issue- it’s a problem since the majority of our customers are affiliates.
Thanks
November 3, 2015 at 10:57 pm #71819adminKeymasterWhat do you mean by manual orders? Are these orders that come via the manual checkout of WooCommerce plugin?
Orders that come via a manual checkout goes to a pending type status. When you receive the money, you then set the order to “completed” and the plugin will award the commission at that time (given there was a referral for that order). Are you changing the order status after you receive the payment manually?
November 3, 2015 at 11:03 pm #71820technistaMemberThanks for your quick reply-
What I mean by manual is creating an order by doing a lookup for existing customers. When you search for non-affiliates, the names come up in search. For affiliates, we get a “not found” message.
Would it help if I provided a screenshot?

November 4, 2015 at 2:26 am #71821adminKeymasterI am not understanding the process. What has looking up an existing customer got to do with the affiliate commission?
Yes, please share a screenshot so I can understand your question better.
November 4, 2015 at 4:20 pm #71822technistaMemberGo to Woocommerce-> Orders-> Add New Order and type in ID or name of existing customer under Customer dropdown menu. Names come up for non-affiliates but not for affiliates.
I have a screenshot but don’t see a way to upload it here.

November 4, 2015 at 4:26 pm #71824technistaMemberTo answer your question about the relevance- The customer wants to be able to manually create orders in woocommerce for customers on request. She is able to do this for non-affiliates, but not for customers in the affiliate program.
November 5, 2015 at 12:06 am #71825adminKeymasterOur plugin doesn’t do anything with that customer search inside the orders interface of the WooCommerce plugin. You can’t add an affiliate to that order using that method.
Affiliate referrals are read from the cookie (by the plugin) at the time of the transaction (it is an automated process).
If you want to manually award a commission to an affiliate then you can do it by going to the “Sales/Comm Data” menu of the affiliate plugin. There is an option their to manually add commission.
