Hi,
I’m using Wishlist member for an online course and Paypal for my payment button.
I am not using the Paypal generated button but rather using the “email” link for the button with my own designed button (so I can’t use the method mentioned in the documentation for Wishlist integration of adding a line of code to the button.)
I use Paypal PDT and redirect after purchase to go to a Wishlist generated registration page on my site.
I tried putting the same PDT token that I use for Wishlist in the WP Affiliate settings (under 3rd party shopping cart integration), but I’ve tested and apparently that doesn’t work to register the affiliate sale.
What other options do I have to:
– Have paypal redirect using PDT to the Wishlist registration page.
– Use a custom graphic as a buy now button for Paypal.
– Still register the affiliate sale.
I’m using WP Affiliate v 5.8.6
Thanks!
September 26, 2014 at 12:00 am #65672adminKeymasterThe affiliate is sending the user to the website using their affiliate link prior to the user buying the item correct? The first action in an affiliate referral is that the visitor is sent to the site with an affiliate link. Then later when the visitor purchase something the referral commission is given to the affiliate.
If the above is satisfied then You should be able to use option 1 from the following documentation:

I did option 1 from that documentation but the affiliate commission was not registered (just the click) so I assumed there may be a conflict of using the PDT token both for Wishlist and WP affiliate.
