SpectatorI’ve set up with wp affiliate platform and classipress as outlined here: https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/classipress-wp-affiliate-integration-1488
It’s tracking clicks, but not sales.
Do I need to also add custom code as outlined here:
If so how do we retrieve the varying variables for sale amount and item ID?

KeymasterNo, you don’t need to do the thank you page tracking shortcode when you are using the following:
Please enable the debug logging option in the affiliate plugin. Then do an affiliate referred test transaction so we can see if the plugin is receiving the sale notification after payment.
Which version of Classipress are you using?

SpectatorIt’s classipress 3.5.8. I couldn’t see any theme compatibility notes for the plugin and theme.
I’ve set the debug logging so will be back with an update asap.

KeymasterYou need to upgrade to the newer version of Classipress. The integration requires the newer payments module which is available in the new version of Classipress.

SpectatorThank you for your answer.
That is frustrating, I’m not in a position to upgrade the theme.
Where is the that information/the compatibility info? From which version is it compatible? It should have been made clear on before purchasing the plugin.

According to the ClassiPress site, version 3.5.8 was released 3 years ago:
https://docs.appthemes.com/classipress/classipress-version-history/
Given that 8 releases have taken place since then, it is not reasonable to assume 3 years of backwards compatibility.

KeymasterAt least you should upgrade to the latest version of 3.x. I know that v4.x works for sure. I am pretty sure that v3.6.1 of Classipress should also work.
