WP affiliate search for affiliate box

Person A (an affiliate) has business cards with affiliate link (www.example.com/affiliatelink) on it.

Person A hands business card to a friend (Person .

Later on Person B goes online and types in [www.example.com] but doen’t type the last part of the url.

Person B goes to the main page buys product and Person A gets no credit.

I want to build an [www.example.com] page, so if someone ends up there they can not buy product but instead have the opportunity to input the (affiliatelink – in example above)

Is there a way to have a form box on the example.com page that instructs Person B to input affiliatelink so Person A gets the credit.

Any help would be appreciated.

WP affiliate plugin has a shortcode that allows your visitor to manually enter an affiliate ID. This opiton should be handy for what you are trying to do. Please check this post for details:
