WP Affiliate – sales/clicks not tracked in parent domain?

Hi, I’m using WP Affiliate with Wishlist Member using Paypal.

The WP installation is in shineyourstrengths.com.au/shine/

I’ve managed to hook it all up so that when the buy now page is WITHIN a Wordpres page like [http://shineyourstrengths.com.au/shine/test-buy-page/?ap_id=rockethost] , the sales and clicks are tracked in the affiliate account.

However when I put the same Paypal button code on a page outside the WP installation (but still on the same parent domain) [http://shineyourstrengths.com.au/21daychallenge.html?ap_id=rockethost] – the sales and clicks are not tracked.

Is this because it is a higher level up in the domain directory and not recognised as being in the same website? Or should this work? And is there a way to track these sales from the parent domain directory without moving our WP installation into the parent directory?

This is a brand new copy of WP Affiliate.
