WP Affiliate – providing affiliates with more info

In the affiliate portal there is a page for generating affiliate link URL’s. This page anticipates that the affiliate can edit the primary URL by adding any valid URL extension…

i.e. the standard URL is lovingyourcore.com and generating an affiliate link would resolve to lovingyourcore.com?ap_id=chuck

I would like to edit the instruction page to be able to identify specific landing pages for specific programs..i.e “runners”

So that any affiliate can see a list of the various landing pages I create and choose the appropriate one for generating their unique affiliate ID URL for that specific page.

This way the affiliate would not need to know the specific URL to insert as it would be listed and shown to them.

Is that making sense? I don’t want affiliates to be required to know the page URL. Make it easy.

That is something you need to list on a separate page. You can create a standard wordpress page where you list all your landing pages and put instructions for your affiliates (basically additional custom information for them). Then enter the URL of this page in the “Welcome Page Message” field (you can find this field in the plugin’s settings page).

The affiliates will see the link to this additional info page (that you created) when they log into their affiliate portal. They can then use the tool to create affiliate links according to how you have instructed them.
