Hi,
I want to award affiliates by paying them for each unique click they send through to my website within the “cookie period that i set”
I’m not really sure of the best way to get around this as there is not a confirmation page they could click to.
I do have an auto redirect page that could get code placed in it to track if a user clicks on this. users that come to my website are not required to sign up so would it also be possible to track by unique IP address.
Thank You
May 28, 2013 at 12:05 am #55855adminKeymasterThere is a way to track unique clicks but I am not sure it is a very good idea to give commission on a per click basis. It kind of attracts scammers who will try to rip you off.
A much better option is to use the pay per lead model. The visitor have to take an action on your site for the affiliate to generate any commission. Read this documentation and let me know if it helps:

May 29, 2013 at 7:44 am #55856askdubliMemberHello Admin, This is Raj;
I have already purchased your plugins [wp-affiliate platform, Wp-estore and wp e members] for my site.
Already installed as per your instructions. But unable to understand one small thing
1. I have given my affiliate members 25% commission,
2. It reflects to all members accounts,
3. When they purchase some products from my site, they do not get any commission,
4 But again when I install wp etore plugins then my affiliates gets commission,
SO MY QUESTION IS
Is it necessary to install WP eStore plugins with the affiliate platform plugin?
OR
We may use the affiliate plugin only to give my affiliate members commission.
Regards.

When you use WP eStore, it does everything for you so that one is easy. If you are not using eStore then what do you plan to use to process your transaction?
Does the affiliate plugin have an integration for that solution you plan to use?
