WP AFFILIATE PLATFORM Feature suggest

Hello.

I was looking for a proper place to suggest a features for WP AFFILIATE PLATFORM but haven’t found one so I decided to post a topic.

Here is a suggestion: I think it would be a great feature if we could deduct paypal fees from every affiliate at the time of generating a mass pay file. So let’s say if the total fee is $1 then every time we generate a mass payment file for paypal the commission would show “checkout fee – $1”

Because for affiliate it wouldn’t be that big of a deal but for a site owner that have 200-300 affiliates it will come up to a pretty penny.

Hi Mitty, it is not a common practice to charge your affiliate processing fees. For example: if you are an amazon affiliate and you had $50 as commission, amazon will make sure you get $50 in your PayPal account when the commission is paid out to you. Any processing fee is the cost of running a business. So it is better if you adjust your product price or commission rate accordingly to cover any processing fees. You can obviously deduct any fees from their commission but some affiliates will get angry. Anyway, I will keep note of this request.

Hi Admin,

Most affiliate companies use this practice all the time when sending a paper checks. CJ,clickbank, SAS. Fiverr uses it by deducting cost of withdraw from total number. But I understand your point regarding angry affiliates as well. Just thought it would make your script that much more versatile.
