WP Affiliate – New Download but Can't Install

I purchased both the eStore and Affiliate plugins yesterday. I spent the day setting up the store today with great success. However as I am starting to move to the affiliate section I activated the plugin and get these errors:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in /home/MYPATH/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_config_class.php on line 29

Fatal error: Call to a member function setValue() on a non-object in /home/MYPATH/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliate_platform_installer.php on line 410

I am currently using WordPress 3.3.2. and am not sure what is going on here. I am using a MU install of wordpress but am trying to activate the plugin within just one install. Not network wide.

Apparently I have Version v5.2.2 of the WP Affiliate plugin. I have read about a Version v5.2.3 in the forums here which may be the solution I need. But why isn’t that the file that is downloaded from your new clients???

Please help me solve this issue so that I can keep moving forward.

OK all sorted now!

I looked a little more and found the link to request the latest builds:

Not sure why a new customer would have to request a latest build right after purchasing. After purchasing I downloaded my files from the Thank You page.. NOT the email that I was sent. Might want to confirm that those links are correct.

I just installed the latest v5.2.3 of WP Affiliate. At first I got an error:

“The plugin generated 236 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

But my internet seemed to hang. So I uninstalled.. and tried again and it seemed to install just fine…

So I’ll be diving deep into this today and will look for any difficulties. BUT this is the great thing about having a support Forum… gives us just enough information to solve issues on our own!… Thanks guys.
