WP Affiliate – Integration with wp emember

I am wondering how I can integrate Affiliate & eMember. I currently have eMember set up with 2 membership levels. Paypal buttons have been set up and I am using monthly recurring billing. I’ve read older posts mentioning the need for estore to achieve such functionality. Can you please assist to achieve without the need for estore.

Integration is built-in for that. Just use the advanced option explained in the following documentation:

This advanced integration will allow the passing of affiliate tracking data so after the payment affiliate commission can be given.

Thank you for the reply. So the affiliate will get paid based on each successful recurring membership payment made by a member.How does the plugin know that a successful payment has been made?does paypal talk to the plugin after each successful payment?Do I need to set the subscription duration to 31 days or will expiry work as well?

PayPal will notify the plugin when a recurring payment is charged.

For a subscription payment, I normally use the “No expiry or until cancelled” option for the membership level. If a member cancels the subscription, the plugin will automatically deactivate that member’s account. You can use 31 days for the expiry also (that will work fine too).
