Can you use the “generate links” tool in the Ads section to track a completely separately link? We have a promo video that lives on another domain and would like to track that as well. Is this possible?

Also, can we rename the three “Ad” sub-links (listed below) to something else?

The generate affiliate links tool can only handle the URLs on the site where the plugin is installed.

Yes, you can customize the ad sub-links. Use the following technique:

To follow up with my “generate links” tool question above…does an affiliate get full credit if the following happens?

    1. The affiliate sends out a link to page with free resources and a promotional video for a paid program.

    2. The customer clicks on the “learn more” button and is taken to a new page that has complete information about the paid program. The customer buys on this second page.

Does the affiliate get the credit, even though the link they gave out was not the actual page you buy from? I am hoping this is the case.

Note, both pages live on the same domain and are part of the same WordPress site.

Yes, as long as both those pages are on the same WP install. The plugin will track sales from all pages of that WP install after they come to your site via an affiliate referral.
