WP Affiliate – Award Commission question and a button to request money

Hello

First of all I have to say this is a great plugin and is very useful but a few things can be improved from my point of view :

1.I have a lot of sales and after I award commission to an affiliate i want the whole line with all the info about the lead to change the color to blue or red to know that i awarded the commission.This is very useful when i log on my wordpress from my phone and have to do things fast.

2.It is possible when an affiliate reach the minimum payout to have a request money button ? … and when the button is pressed a notification will be sent to my email.

1) Just to clarify, you want to change the color of the “LEAD” entry that generated a commission correct? You are using a lead capture model where you capture leads and then later award commission once you have sold something to those leads?

2) This is not possible because affiliate software don’t usually work that way. The way affiliate payout is handled is that every month on a set date you payout the outstanding commission (you can payout commission regardless or pay commission once the affiliate goes over a certain threshold). You could tell your affiliates to contact you if they wanted to get paid out early but that is something that can give you some hassle when you have a lot of affiliates sending manual request to get paid out whenever.

1.Yes I want to color the lead that generated a commission.I’m using the plugin with contact form 7 to capture the leads.I award the commission after I sold my product.

2.I pay my affiliates in 5 days after they reach minimum payout and that’s why I was asking.Now they send me a message when they want to be paid through the contact form from affiliate area.

I was thinking to make a button that sends a message like “Affiliate X has reached minimum payout and have to be paid with [what ever the affiliate made] $” …basically the same way the affiliate send the message through contact form.I have an affiliate script(not wordpress) that uses this system and that’s why I asked.

Thank you for the explanation. I will look into the option where the lead that generated a commission is colored. Regarding the other feature you requested… we don’t have an structure that you explained so that won’t be possible to do unfortunately.

In the leads panel, after I rewarded a commission for the offline sale with the lead, how can i know later that I already paid for that lead commission? With a large list, how to avoid double payment by mistakes for confusions?

After you capture a lead, it is likely that you will sell to them multiple times. Every time you sell to them you can award the appropriate commission to the correct referrer of that lead. If you only want to give commission once from each lead then you can simply delete the lead after you give the commission. There is a “Delete” button for each lead you have captured.
