Hello,
I have added a ‘Terms & Conditions page’ in the General Settings/Terms & Conditions URL field. I have also checked the Manually Approve Affiliate Registration field. There are a few issues:
1)I have tested the system several times (using another IP address)but the program seems to allow affiliates to sign up without checking the Terms & Conditions checkbox on the signup page.
I have tested the Terms & Conditions page and its URL is working fine.
2) Since I have checked the ‘Manually Approve Affiliate Registration’ field, will the system send out 2 separate emails to the new Affiliate ie., one upon registration indicating that registration is ‘pending’ approval?, and two upon approval?
How can I configure 2 emails to be sent out automatically? Since the option to select manual approval is included, but the option to configure the 2 appropriate notifications is not.
I am asking this because the Email Settings tab has only ONE Affiliate SignUp Email that can be configured. Such being the case, the new affiliate has no way of finding out when his registration is approved. Apart from repeatedly trying to login, or I manually send him an email saying his registration is approved after I set his status to ‘Approved’.
Please help.

2) The system doesn’t send 2 emails at the moment. This sounds like a good idea. I will look into adding another email option in the plugin for this.
June 9, 2014 at 6:12 pm #63237VammyMemberHi,
The affiliate sign-up form seems to allow new sign-ups without even entering an Affiliate ID.
I am receiving “new affiliate sign-up notification’ from the system with the Affiliate ID field left blank.
Isn’t there anywhere we can select mandatory items?
The ‘Affiliate ID’ is the most important detail, but the sign-up forms allows registration even when this is left blank.
Please let me know what I need to do.
Thanks.
ps.
re. my previous inquiry, I am now having to send out manual emails when an affiliate is approved. Surely this should be a basic feature of the plugin.
BTW, could there also be a selection/checkbox here on the forum so that we can receive an email notification when a forum reply is posted.
June 9, 2014 at 11:54 pm #63238adminKeymasterYou have some errors on your site which is making the plugin behave weirdly. The issue is the errors you have on your site as soon as those gets fixed, the plugin will behave normally. I asked you to post the link of your affiliate signup page so I can inspect it so please do that.

Thanks
June 10, 2014 at 4:56 am #63241VammyMemberHi, I have another question, Is a ‘space’ allowed in an Affiliate ID? I’m asking because someone has signed as an affiliate with an Affiliate ID that is made up of 2 words with a space in between.
Thanks
June 11, 2014 at 12:02 am #63242adminKeymasterThank you. I checked the page and yes you do have javascript errors coming from another plugin or your theme or some custom coding you may have done.
Read the following post and it will help you see the errors I am referring to:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/debugging-javascript-errors-on-your-site
So you need to fix those errors first and then the affiliate plugin’s signup page will work normally.
The following post can help you find out which plugin or theme is introducing the errors:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
The space character is not allowed in the affiliate ID. And it won’t let users signup with space character after you fix the errors I am referring to.
If you test using option 1 (see the following documentation)… you will see that none of the issues you explained above are there:
