WP Affiliate – affiliate tracking when interview is required before payment

Hello,

How could we use the WP Affiliate Platform in the following case?

We have a landing page and an application form (no payments at this point)… then there is an interview (by phone/Skype)… and after the interview (if they are accepted) they pay for the course.

We cannot figure out how the WP Affiliate Platform could be used in this particular case as there is no payment button on the application form page because they cannot pay before they have their interview.

Is there any way the WP Affiliate Platform could be used in our case so we could have affiliates sending traffic to us?

Is the applicant signing up to take a course, or to become an affiliate? If it is to take a course, then you can integrate Affiliate Platform with our eStore plugin:

Thank you for replying… Yes, the applicant signs up to take a course. We just want the affiliate links which send us the applicants would work. The problem is that they do not go to the payment form immediately. They schedule an interview and only then do they pay. So we do not know how our affiliate tracking links could work in this case.

They don’t need to pay immediately for the tracking to work. The affiliate will get rewarded if the customer purchase within the cookie life time you set in the settings of the plugin. By default, it is set to something like 30 days. You can change that value to suit your needs.
