WP Affiliate – affiliate tracking for coupons with Stripe Payments plugin

Is there a way to have WP Affiliate do affiliate coupon code tracking with the Stripe Payments plugin?

To expand, I would like to give my affiliate marketers coupon codes to use which they could then share with clients. Each time a client uses an affiliate’s coupon code the respective affiliate will get a commission (and the client will get the corresponding discount).

We don’t have a coupon tracking option for Stripe payments plugin. This is something we will work on adding.

We will add this to the Stripe plugin. It will be in the Stripe plugin’s change log (you will see it in the update).

Thanks for your effort towards this. Would you be able to please give me an update on the progress of allowing WP Affiliate to track coupons used in the Stripe Payments plugin?

I took a look through the change logs and saw some updates but I’m not sure if it was included.

Will the coupon code be the same as the affiliate ID? That will allow me to implement this easily.

Hi, yes that would be great. That will work for my implementation.

I have added this feature so if it finds a coupon code in the transaction and that coupon code matches with an “Affiliate ID”, it will award the commission to that affiliate.

Please download the new version of the integration addon from here then use it.

Keep the debug logging enabled in the plugin so you can see if the coupon code to affiliate tracking is happening or not.
