Hello,
I updated to WP 3.1 today and based on recommendations in the forums, then upgraded wp-estore using the automatic update request:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/automatic-update-request
Now, when I try to change a price on one of my products it does not change and I get this php error:
WordPress database error Unknown column ‘old_price’ in ‘field list’ for query UPDATE 22_wp_eStore_tbl SET name = ‘Get Engaged DVD set’, price = ‘.50’, pr…..
Please advice how to fix. I’m guessing your wp-estore database has been changed. How do I correct the DB structure without loosing all my data?
Please follow the instruction for upgrading. It tells you to do a deactivate and reactivate the plugin when upgrading. Please do that and let me know how you go after that.
Hello, I followed the instructions exactly, including deactivating and reactivating the plugin. I still have the problem.
Because there are only CREATE table calls in your plugin and no ALTER table calls, it looks like there is no way this plugin will update a database when you guys alter a table. Am I incorrect? Please let me know what the next step is.
Thanks,
David
WordPress handles database updates slightly differently.
Are you using a Windows server?
No, I’m using FreeBSD, MySQL and the latest version of PHP.
Not sure why your site is having an upgrade issue but I have sent you an email to get site access so I can check it out.
