Good Morning. I am a developer new to Wp eMember. I have a client who wishes to setup & maintain membership database. There are no protected pages. Instead they wish to bring up a membership form to enable payment, via PayPal for annual membership fee. On payment form populates the backend database & also submits to Mailchimp. Have also purchased optional custom form builder to enable customisation.
What is the best way/workflow to accomplish please?
Read the following page to get an understanding of how the registration process works with WP eMember:
The user can pay first then submit the registration form (that will capture the details of the profile). Or the user can create a profile first then log into the account and make a payment. You have to pick one of those two methods. Then you can customize the follow-up emails and other configuration details accordingly to make that process work smoothly.
