First I really apologize about posting in the wrong forum I had two windows open and click the wrong window to post my topic.
Hello HQ Forum. I recently bought the wp e-store package and was having some trouble. I just transferred to a Hostgator VPS Linux server so I didn’t get a chance to install the addons I bought from you all in till tonight.
The problem I’m having is when I activate anyone of your addons my wordpress backend turns completely white and I’m forced to go in through ftp and rename the folders and refresh the page.
I am using the latest WordPress 3.0? they came out with just a few days ago. I listed my addons below becuase I thought it might be one of them conflicting with your products per the instructions you posted about in FAQ.
Here is what I’m going to do go in a disable all addons and try to load yours. The only one I can not deactivate is w3cache.
Then go through and enable one at a time activate and test.
If that doesn’t work I will try a repair on my database.
My last resort is to downgrade to a wordpress version I know works with your addons.
With that is there anything you can think of that would be causing this? and do you need more information?
Really looking forward to using your addons. Thanks for your time. ~ Scot Manaher

June 27, 2010 at 3:05 am #22032scotmanMemberAlright after some investigation I disabled all addon then enabled yours first. Well it worked but these addons below will not work when your addons are activated. So I wonder what these addons have in common that they would all produce a white screen? Thanks.

Headspace 2
I just checked this plugin’s page and it has been reported to be broken (checkout the “compatibility” section on the following page):
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/headspace2/
These days there are too many plugins out there that are not maintained by the developer anymore and causes all sorts of issues.
June 27, 2010 at 7:08 am #22036scotmanMemberThanks I will be searching for a new seo plugin. I didn’t know it was incompatible.
I did fix this though everything is working perfectly!
The fix is you have to edit the php.ini file via your WHM Cpanel Manager and navigate to PHP configuration editor and change the following…
Core memory_limit
-This sets the maximum amount of memory in bytes that a script is allowed to allocate. This helps prevent poorly written scripts for eating up all available memory on a server.
You want to set from 32m to 64m and all should be fine.
For members…Just a warning if you don’t know what I’m talking about just call up your host and ask them to increase your php memory limit.
