WooCommerce Subscription commissions reccuring

Hello,

I’ve purchased WP Affiliate but am uncertain whether commissions are provided on a recurring basis using WooCommerce subscriptions. One-time commissions do work, so far. If John refers Bob who buys a subscription, will John receive a commission each month Bob’s subscription renews (so long as he hasn’t cancelled)?

Hi, At the moment the affiliate plugin works with the main Woocommerce plugin. They offer the subscription feature as a premium addon for $99 I think. So we haven’t had many customers who asked for this. If you are willing to test a subscription payment commission scenario then we should be able to get this going. Let me know if you are interested to test.

Yes, I already have the subscription addon. I’ve tested the commissions and they do appear for the first subscription payment but I’ve yet to see if on-going commissions are recorded properly.

Hi glad I Found this thread. I too am using Woocommerce Subscriptions and would like to be able to ensure affiliates get reoccurring commissions from subscription products. How can we set this up?

Also would like to be able to assign commissions to an affiliate from a subscription that was already purchased… is it possible to award a subscription that has already been purchased to an affiliate so they automatically get it for all subscription renewals from that sale moving forward?

The woocommerce subscription commission tracking will be automatic. You don’t have to do anything (it will work automatically).

For our plugin to handle the recurring commissions, our plugin needs to the track the first checkout of that subscription. You can manually enter a commission to make adjustments but it won’t be automatic going forward for that already purchased subscription.

What of the Force Affiliate (i think thats the name) of the add on plugin I saw offered that forces a client to an affiliate meaning that client is forever associated with an individual affiliate – the next time the client bills (and all billings forward)] – will that make it so an existing client will bill to an affiliate even though the original sale was not created through an affiliate link?

The customer to affiliate relationship is established at the start of the transaction (the first transaction). So it doesn’t apply for existing transactions where it wasn’t present.
