After PayPal checkout, emails are received with the registration link missing and “error” reported.
Using the payment method inside Wishlist Memger everything is added and mailed OK.
The IPN log is blank.
In the setup instructions you say “add POST URL” to the ipn handler file from the Integration page. There isn’t a URL with that label, but I assume that this URL is the URL with the return to the registration page. I also can’t find the “Secret Word”, but assume its the key from Paypal.
If these assumptions are not correct, that may be my problem.

Hi Don, All those values (eg. POST URL, Secret Word) can be found on the “Integration” tab of the WishList plugin. You need to go to that tab and select “Generic system integration”.
You need to follow the instructions on this URL:

I have no “Generic system integration” to select. Only PayPal, ClickBank, 1shoping and Qickpay Pro.
On the Paypal page there is no “secret word”, only a Paypal :Idenity Code which I have tried. There is also no Secret Word.
There are “Secret Words” on the Cllickbank and other payment providers, but not on the Paypal page.

"I have no "Generic system integration" to select"– This may mean that you have an older version of WishList plugin. Maybe contact the Wishlist guys to see if you can get the latest version of that plugin?

OK…I needed to upgrade and have done so.
I still get the email with an error message instead of the download link. The error log is still blank.
Have have debug checked, the secret word and url in place, downloadable product checked and the SKU code in the “Additional” section.
A standard paypal button with IPN in wishmember works, so suspect that there isn’t a problem with server settings.
Can you think of another mistake I could have made?
