Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › Will this work with Sitemile Auction Theme?
I have been working on this for an hour now and feel totally frustrated. I have the WordPress Auction Theme from Sitemile, which is NEED for my online auction site. But in addition to that theme, I need a more customized membership setup so I can get more detailed information from subscribers, particularly geographic location. Our site is a LOCAL online auction, so I need to restrict registration and participation to those within a subset of zip codes. But something conflicts with eMember and I don’t know where to begin figuring this out. I love what I see of your plugin, but I don’t know how to get it working. Can you help?
Site is WordPress 3.3.2, with the auction theme/plugin installed and no other plugins active. If I switch themes, I can set membership levels, etc. But when I switch back to the auction theme, I get errors.
I am not familiar with the theme you are using but lets try to drill down and see if we can identify the source. Can you please elaborate on what exactly happens or which feature of eMember is not working?
What behavior do you see when you say “Something conflicts with eMember”? Can you please share a link to the page where *this something* is going wrong?
Also, it will be helpful if you can do a quick theme test and let us know if *this something* happens in one of the default WordPress themes:

Oh my! @nrvauction I know your question is more related to eMember than eStore, but after reading up on the SiteMile “themes,” I believe the problems will be ultimately be related to the same issues discussed in this Tips & Tricks HQ article:

Specifically, I *think* eMember and SiteMile’s management of user profiles, are in conflict.
