When someone purchases a membership from the estore they aren’t receiving an email from the store with their download links. The email settings look right in estore. What seems to be happening is that paypal isn’t letting the estore know that the payment has gone through, so the estore doesn’t know that it’s cool to send out the email.
Any ideas? There are 2 ipn documents that I can see on the server. One is called “paypal_ipn.php” and one is called “eMember_handle_paypal_ipn.php” Is it one of these that we should refer paypal to? Is this problem due to something completely different?

How did you set up your product/Membership? Which instructions did you follow?
You mention “download links” – does that mean you are selling downloadable content as part of your product?
The best way for us to determine what is happening is to examine the debug logs.
Can you please enable debug for eStore and then share the contents of ipn_handle_debug.log.
