Hi there
Is there a specific page, form or address where one may go to suggest enhancements to products? I’m not talking about my own products, I’m talking about things like eMember and eStore.
For example, in the eStore we are able to configure an image used for the Shopping Cart if no items are inside. But all we are told is to provide the URL where the desired image is found. It would be nice if we had like an upload button and a way to use images that are already part of the site.
Thanks… Rick

Then, go to the “Edit” page for the uploaded image. Look for an entry called “File URL.” Place your mouse pointer over whatever value is shown. Do a right-click, and then a left-click on the “Select All” menu option. Then, do another right-click, and do a left-click on the “Copy” menu option. Alternatively, after placing the mouse pointer over the URL value, you can do a Control-A followed by a Control-C.
You can now go back to eStore, and paste the copied value into whatever field you desire.
I’ll leave it to Amin & Ivy to address the “suggestion box” suggestion

This means you have to click away from where you are in the eStore config to go fetch the image. I was thinking it would be slick (if it can be done) to have a button or whatever that allows you to choose the image from the media library right from where you are inserting it!
Thanks for the suggestion link. Rick

Yes, I agree that it would be slick to have an upload button there but every time you add a feature the plugin get heavier. One of the advantages of eStore is that it’s light weight compared to most of the heavyweight eCommerce plugins (some of them are over few MB). Not introducing functionality that is already in the core WordPress is one way to keep the plugin lightweight.
