Hi,
Can you tell me where to find the shortcodes and/or instructions on how to use this plug-in?
I found the info on how to set up a twitter app for it but the link on the plug in pages does not go to to a page that explains how to use it. It actually just takes me to the Tips and Tricks home page. I searched from there and can’t find it. It’s probably staring right at me!
May 16, 2013 at 7:54 am #55659adminKeymasterHi Pam, Please see this documentation which has the usage instruction:

May 16, 2013 at 10:10 am #55661PamelaMemberSo I’ve spent a couple of hours before resorting to writing again.
I am getting this error message…
There was an error connecting to twitter, probably a consumer key/secret issue.
Of course, I checked and re-checked and deleted and started over. I’ve studied the instructions, etc.,
I realize you can’t see all of my settings and my twitter app but I thought you may have dealt with this error over and over.
Thank you, Pam

i) Go to https://dev.twitter.com/apps click on your application
ii) Click the
Settings
tabiii) Enter your website URL in the
WebSite
field.For example: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/
iv) Enter your website URL in the
Callback URL
fieldv) Hit the “Update this Twitter Application’s settings” button to save.
May 17, 2013 at 7:52 am #55663PamelaMemberHi Ruhul,
Thanks for the response. I did that, just added the www. Seems I get the same no matter a www prefix or not.
I also changed the web site in my twitter account to the site in question, booksbypam.com.
I have a static page at the root, the home page. I just now created that (using your great instructions for a custom page template to make sure that wasn’t an issue.
Of course, the consumer key and secret were copied an pasted.
Thinking of deleting it and starting over but I have already done that once to no avail.

May 17, 2013 at 4:56 pm #55665PamelaMemberHi wzp,
I did find hitchhikers. I was excited to find them but got the same error when I deleted them. Refreshed browser, gave it time, etc., No cigar.
Nice spotting though!
