Hello, I am going through the setup in the estore general setting section and there is a “Checkout Page” and then an empty box. What am I suppose to put there? Right now my website is set up to use Paypal Merchant Standard. Is “checkout page” a different page I can create?

    Hi,

You can leave that empty if you wish. If left empty the shopping cart will be displayed on your current page (or widget depending on how you’ve configured it).

Alternatively you can create a separate shopping cart checkout page using the link above.

Okay thanks, are you referring to the “how to create a checkout page” link above and to the right? Right now it is a widget but will a widget be enough room for Terms and Conditions, coupon codes, etc? Seems like a whole page would be needed to have enough room or will everything just shrink in the widget so there is room?

The shopping cart is flexible and has the ability to adjust to the sidebar within reasons. If the sidebar is too narrow then it won’t work.

If you use a separate page for your checkout then simply create a WordPress page called “Checkout”. Place the shopping cart shortcode on this page then use the URL of this page in the “Checkout Page URL” field.
