    Hi there

Before purchasing the scripts from this site I was using PayLoadz. I had to go into PayPal and make some changes. I found a page at PayPal where you enter the “Notification URL” and it’s currently pointing to PayLoadz. I assume I need to change this to point back to my site now. But I’m unclear on exactly what the URL should be!

    Cheers… Rick :)

You don’t need to set it for eStore. The reason is because eStore tells PayPal what the Notification URL is, when it invokes PayPal. Some plugins will deliberately not embed the URL in their PayPal calls, to lock you into one product; because you can only have one Notification URL at a time in your PayPal profile!

Thanks, WZP! I’m guessing I need to just ensure the field is empty on PayPal?

As a “safety precaution,” it’s a good idea; but not a requirement. The reason it’s a good idea, is to prevent accidental IPN callbacks to the old notification URL.

If you have modified your “Instant Payment Notification” settings once then PayPal won’t allow you to have an “Empty Value” in that notification URL field. Just use your site’s home page URL so you know that any accidental payment notification wont’ be going anywhere but your site.
