What tables does wp_emember create upon installing? Where does it store the custom fields and the membership levels? Does it store PayPal transaction details?
There are a few different tables. The emember tables have the “emember” or “member” keyword in there. So if you go to your tables list, you can easily identify them by looking for that keyword.
Membership level data goes to wp_eMember_membership_tbl
The custom fields go to wp_members_meta_tbl
If you create the paypal button inside the plugin then it will store the transaction data.
Related, in the csv file, it doesn’t show headers for Fax and website and one addition header, but don’t know if I try to upload my csv, if those will take and show?
We don’t have anything for the “fax”. Are you still talking about emember plugin?
yes. I have 3 custom fields I’d like to include? Will I need to custom create it to make it work?
You will need to use the custom fields option in the core plugin or the form builder addon:
How to Customize Which Fields Appear on the Registration and Edit Profile Page
Custom fields can’t be imported though. Once you customize the custom fields for your site, your members will be able to fill in those fields.
The custom fields are stored in the wp_members_meta_tbl DB table.
Honestly, thank you. I appreciate it. It’s nice to get responses in a timely matter.
BTW, we bought eMember, does this form builder addon come included or do we have to buy it?
Wait, I figured it out. All good. Thanks!
