What is the best way to mass delete

I have searched your Knowledgebase and forum, looking for advice on the best way to mass delete sales data, but not been able to find any useful advice.

We have an annual event, for which the adult & child tickets are product IDs 2 and 3. Now that the event is finished for this year, I would like to be able to delete all 795 sales (customer records) for these two product IDs (and reset the sales counter) so that next year we start from zero for this event.

I know I can do a select on table wp_wp_eStore_customer_tbl in phpMyAdmin, selecting & deleting all the records for these product IDs, but is there a way to do it from within WordPress/wp eStore plugin instead? I would like to be able to make my webstore administrator responsible for this task, but I don’t want to give her access to cPanel and phpMyAdmin.

Go to the following interface in eStore plugin that lets you mass delete/reset.

Yes, I had seen those buttons, but the “Reset All Sales Data” deletes all sales, and I only want to delete sales of 2 of my 15 products. Doing that involves going into phpMyAdmin and doing an SQL select to find only those records to delete. My webstore administrator doesn’t have cPanel access, and wouldn’t know how to use phpMyAdmin.

I see what you mean. We don’t have a built in mass delete for the manage customers menu. There hasn’t been any need for this from a lot of users since the customers list is not something you delete on a regular basis. The individual deletion option has served the purpose so far. I will look into adding mass delete option in the mange customers menu.

Thank you for this. It would really help me to spread the workload of managing my site if my webstore administrator could clear out sales of each annual item, as it is completed. I have this topic saved as a favourite, but how will I know if & when you decide to provide this function? Where will you announce the delivery of this functionality? Do I need to log a separate enhancement request in your support forum, or have you already added it to the “wish list”?
