    Hi,

When a membership is about to expire, does the member get notified by email?

If a membership does expire or is canceled, is the admin notified of this in any way?

    Thanks.

If you check the “Enable Auto Expiry Email Notification” checkbox in the eMember’s settings then you will be able to configure what email will be sent to the member whose account is about to be expired or has just expired.

    Thanks for that.

Is the admin (me) notified in any way if a membership expires? I’m thinking about how I’ll realize that a member needs to be removed from AWeber (it’s a members-only newsletter that goes with the membership).

The admin does not get notified. We will look into adding an option so you can chose to notify the admin too.

That would be hugely useful for a lot of people, I’d assume. Thanks.

Do you have the status on this? I would like a similar admin notification when a membership expires.

Admin notification of expired accounts, individually or in bulk, are not supported.

Since all memberships expire at the same time of day (could be very early), wouldn’t you be annoyed to get an email for each of the “X” memberships that expire on that particular day? And if you have more than a few hundred members, chances are you’d be getting at least 1 email each day.

You can easily filter the members display list for: Account State = Expired

As the Admin, you or someone, should be checking up on the system at least once a day; to perform “routine tasks.”

Is there any possibility that you will add the option to have the admin notified if a membership is cancelled or expired? I am finding that I need to go in and manually change the WP User Role when the eMember membership changes, so it would be really helpful to be notified when that happens.
