Watermark questions

I have been using your plugin for several years with a client – thousands of photos uploaded in 7 different galleries. It has been working great!!!

The client has new management and now wants a watermark on all photos. My question is twofold:

1. Does the watermarking feature only work when you are uploading photos, or can it retroactively add watermarks to photos that are already on the site?

2. I tried testing the watermark a couple of times by uploading some sample photos. I tried both a text watermark and an image, and neither one seemed to work. I tried looking in the forum for solutions but didn’t see any that were 100% relevant or helpful to my situation.

We are on plugin version 2.2.6 and WP version 5.5.3. We use Flywheel hosting.

You can apply the watermark at a later time also (not only when uploading). I will send you an email so you can privately send us the information and then I will investigate this.
