Tagged: Coupons
Hi,
I would like to do a special “unadvertised” sale on my site. I want the amount of discount to be specific to all the products:
1. On a certain page only (there be a password to login to this special page)
2. Specific to each product
3. I don’t want the rest of the site to even know there is a coupon/discount code option.
Possible? If so, how do I go about such a thing?
Is there a better way of doing this?
Thanks,
Bill
How will the visitors know about this coupon/special sale option?
They will be told about it and given a link to it from the Intranet of their company. It will be a very exclusive deal only for them.
Thanks,
BBill
Okay, so there is nothing wrong with having the coupon field in the shopping cart by default. Since, the codes will be given very exclusively your average customer’s won’t be able to use the coupons.
Now, to answer your original question… no, you cannot have a special shopping cart that shows the coupon code field. You either show the coupon code field or you don’t (globally).
Thanks,
I didn’t want people to think they were missing out on some great deal by not having a coupon code… kinda like teasing them or disappointing them as I see it.
Is there a way to copy all products and details to another site and “import” them into the store easily?
Thanks Much,
Bill
