I am using the pay per view option to view a video. The cost to view a video is £0.10 (for example). As the amount is so tiny I will lose most of this on paypal fee’s ! I want to allow buyers to purchase say £1.00 of viewing time which they can use over a period of time. How can I make this work with my estore plugin ? Thanks.
Maybe an eStore addon like this?

I will look at this plugin – Is it possible with this to set a minimum spend ? To avoid the customer buying only £0.10 of credits I would want to set a minimum purchase of £1.00 for example.
On the same note – is it possible to set a maximum spend ? As I will be on paypals micropayment rate – this rate increases significantly if the value of spend goes beyond their limit.
I think you need to consult with PayPal what the minimum/maximum limits for your currency are.
Sorry I mean – can I set the credit token amount limit so that the minimum they can purchase is £1.00 worth ?
The credit is something they buy in bulk. So you you can only have the option to buy lets say $5 worth of credit at a time. Then they can spend from their later.
Thank you – my reason for needing the credits is to avoid tiny paypal transactions that result in me losing most of it in fee’s so if my buyer can buy in bulk – within limits that I am able to fix, this will work great for me.
You probably also want to talk to PayPal about enabling micro transaction rates in your account. That way you will get charged smaller transaction fees for micro transaction.
Yes I’ve sorted that – thanks for the help
