Videos on Amazon S3 not playing on Android

Hi,

I am using the Lightbox Ultimate plugin, and am not able to get the videos to play on an iPhone or Android mobile device. I am pretty sure that I have the most recent version (1.6.3), the videos are hosted on S3, and they work on in a regular web browser.

When I try to view it with my HTC One I get an error message about the Flash not being the right version. I have reviewed various documentation and links in the forum, but can’t figure out what the problem is. How can I ensure that the videos are viewable on any Android or iPhone?

iPhones do not support Flash.

What version of Android?

Which shortcode are you using? There are a lot of shortcodes… some are for flash only which won’t work on iphone or ipad.

I have this problem, I am using the Amazon S3 embed directly on a post or page shortcode. Trying to view on HTC One – says I dont have the latest flash version.

Android no longer supports Flash; or rather, Flash no longer supports Android.

Is there any solution in the pipeline to get S3 mp4 videos to play on android tablets going forward using this plugin?
