Video won't play with wp-lightbox-ultimate

I don’t think this is an issue with the plugin, but I am not sure where else to get help on this, and I want to use wp-lightbox-ultimate.

This site just won’t play video – no matter what I load to play it with. I just used this plugin on another site and it worked like a charm, so I am quite sure it has something to do with how this site and its theme are coded (I didn’t build the site or the theme).

When I use this plugin it only acts to link to the YouTUbe video instead of popping up and playing on the site. When I use the usual embed approach to playing, it shows only the link.

So, something is amiss in how this site reads the code, and I am not sure where to look.
