Turns out that you had the following issues:
1) Your WordPress installation was very old so it needed to be upgraded to the latest version.
2) Your eStore product price for the product in question was set to *nothing*. You need to use a price amount in the “Price” field of the product so the variation addition can work. I corrected this by entering a zero (0) price amount and now it works fine.
