variation shipping not adding to total on Paypal and manual checkout.

I’m setting up a site using variation shipping and it works fine in the cart. the problem is that when i manually checkout or to paypal, the shipping is not add to the total. I have made the items .001 shipping value each but no joy.

Have i missed something? thx

Unfortunately the problem has come back.

I have done some exstensive testing and have narrowed it down to adding the sidebar widget cart into my sidebar seems to have something wrong with it.

I have no problems with the normal cart when added to a page. But when i include the cart widget the shipping gets ignored.

My knowledge of php is very little and i have not idea why this is happening.
