The inventory control for a variation is

    1) not changing the available number when an item (class) is sold. and

    2) It is NOT saying SOLD OUT when the inventory amount is 0.

These seem to point to the same problem source of simply not doing the inventory function.

NOTE: it has been working beautifully for quite a long time for us and we like it, but it is now not working. I can think of no plugin that I have added in this time period.

To see it in action, go to [http://weavehouston.org/classes/#rh9]. The class you see is Rigid Heddle Color and Weave. It is set at inventory 0. As you see, I made the variation say “Class if full – Do NOT add to cart”. I also changed the price to 0 so no one is charged if they try to buy. These are just temporary customer service choices I made as a workaround to the issue.

Click the add to cart, then go to cart. You will see that it added the class to your cart even though the quantity available is set at 0 in wp-eStore. The usual behavior is to say SOLD OUT when you try to add an inventory number 0 item to a cart.

Based on an answer to a somewhat similar question I checked to see if “Debug” was enabled. It was/is not.

    I will appreciate your help.

Hi, we will need to take a closer look at your site to see what is happening. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
