Tagged: Troy Media, variables and fianl price
My topic title may be a bit obscure but I had a hard time trying to explain what I wanted to achieve in as few words as possible.
Is it possible to create variables that act similar to if/and statements? I want the final price to be based on three different variables selected:
Variable 1 – Columnist|Doug Firby|Mike Robinson| etc
Variable 2 – Contract Term|3 months|6 months|12 months
Variable 3 – Circulation|<12,000 and internet:0|12,001 to 24,000:75.60|24,001 to 60,000:162.00|60,001 to 80,000:259.20|80,001 to 100,000:367.20|>100,000:486.00
However, in Variable 3, the number after the : will be different, depending on the Contract Term.
Is this possible?
Gary
The variations kind of act like “if/and” statement. The price increments that you specify for each of your variations stack and contributes to the final price.
Please read the variation control documentation which has examples showing you how the prices stack. The “Variation Control With Different Prices” section in the following documentation is what I am referring to:
