MemberI’m a bit confused and would appreciate some help please.
The shortcode for embedding the audio player in a fancy product box is listed as:
[wp_eStore_audio_player src =”whatever.mp3″]
however the instances of the audio player working brilliantly elsewhere on our site use the form:
[sc_embed_player fileurl=”whatever.mp3″]
I have installed the extra shortcodes plugin (and the audio player) but cannot get the player to appear within a Fancy type product box with either shortcode within the text of the product description.
Are there two different types of player (sc_embed_player) and (wp_estore_audio_player) or have I missed something truly obvious here?
With kind thanks for any assistance you can provide, Stephen.

MemberCan you please send a link to the page where you are trying to display the audioplayer with the fancy display?

MemberThank you. It’s here:
http://www.littlesleepyhead.co.uk/storetest/
You’ll see the player is working perfectly on the homepage but not in this test page within the eStore product listings.

KeymasterI think the issue is related to shortcode nesting (one shortcode inside another). Let me know if this helps:

MemberThank you very much. That is a perfect fix and the nested shortcode now works with either version of the player. Great customer service.

MemberHello,
Is there a way to share the procedure in making the audio plugin integrate inside the shortcode please? I see that there’s a way to help you if you have a problem, but no documentation in how to actually get it done.
I too would like to be able to get the audio player inside the fancy shortcode as in [http://www.littlesleepyhead.co.uk/downloads/]
I don’t particularly care to know in how to change the “look” of it but the ability to get it inside the box underneath the text.
Please advise and kindly thank you.
Regards.

ModeratorHi, please follow these steps:
Step 1) Install and activate the following plugin:
Compact WordPress Audio/Music Player Plugin (All Browser Compatible)
Step 2) Add the following shortcode in the “Product Description” area of your eStore product (under WP eStore->Add/Edit Products->Additional Product Details section):
[sc_embed_player fileurl="URL OF THE MP3 FILE"]
Step 3) Use a estore fancy display shortcode to display the product on a post/page. Example:
[wp_eStore_fancy1 id=1]

MemberThank you very much, but it ONLY works if the shortcode is OUTSIDE directly on a page or post not inside the Product Details section.
Please advise.
Regards.

KeymasterIt should work inside the product description section too. What version of eStore are you using?
