    Hi,

I am trying to offer a downloadable PDF as a bonus for some physical products I am selling with eStore. I have put in the download link (which is an Amazon S3 link – available to anyone who visits it) and checked off the “downloadable” box. In the product specific instructions I added the {product_link_digital_items_only} tag.

In the confirmation emails being sent to customers the link is not showing up.

What am I doing wrong (if anything)?

    Thanks

    Bentley

What version of eStore are you using?

Can you manually generate an encrypted link for that product, using the Admin Functions?

Awesome – worked like a charm! Thank you

I will put that link in the specific instructions section instead.

Any ideas why the other way wouldn’t work, though?

Ummm, that was meant as a debugging suggestion to see if there was any problem creating links. If you’re going to do what you just said, if you have encrypted link expiration turned on, that manually generated link is going to expire like any other link.

If you don’t care how often they download the bonus PDF, is to just stick a Download Now button on the Thank You page.

Ahhh ok gotcha. I don’t need an expiration but I do want to limit the number of times they download and I don’t want them to know where it is coming from.

Put a Download Now button on the Thank You page.
