Tagged: mail chimp API
I am using Google apps for my access to Mail Chimp. Thusly, I do not have a user name and password for Mail Chimp as my Mail Chimp log on is authenticated by Google apps. In my version of WP eStore I do see a a place to enter an API as shown in you screen shot of the documentation for Mail Chimp integration. Please advise.

Initially my plan was to give the user the option to use username and password or the API but it turned out that when you give users more options they get confused which causes other issues so I went with the widely used username and password option.
You have no username and password information for your MailChimp account? You only have to specify the information in eStore once.
Correct I do not have a user name and password for mail chimp because my access is authenticated through Google Apps. To keep things simple I just create a new mail chimp account for this purpose.
I will add the option to use the API Key again.
