in another post wzp said “How about creating the WordPress order form on the WordPress side of your site and then placing it into an iFrame on the static site? “
the problem is I have no idea how to do this.
I have some digital products I’m going to sell that come with their own prebuilt static html pages.
I’ve managed to get them to work by creating a template for the product using the entire static HTML then inserting the buy now php tag and setting up the product, however this seems incredibly messy and very very easy to break.
So my question is how do I upload the static HTML files and insert an iframe into them that links to my wordpress so I can sell them through my estore plugin and my site like wzp said
thank you
~Nicholas
Hi Nicholas, WP eStore is a WordPress plugin and we do not support using WP eStore in static HTML site (simply because WordPress plugins can only work in a WordPress install). Yes, some advanced user can do various tweaks but it is not recommended and not officially supported. If you want to use eStore please use it on a WordPress install.
Nevermind, I have a WordPress site, I simple have some products that need static HTML pages I kept searching and found this
which seems to have answered my question.
I just need to figure out how to add an item to a WP page
