I’m using the auto-upgrade button(short-code) to allow a user to upgrade to another membership level
I want the user to get an email when his account his upgraded. And I have checked ‘Enable Automatic Upgrade Email Notification’.
But the user is still not getting emails
Hi, The auto upgrade email that the settings is referring to is actually for this feature:

The shortcode you are using is not something we call “Auto Upgrade”. It doesn’t trigger any email because the user is doing the operation right there. Also, this option to freely upgrade the membership level to a different level is mostly used as a backdoor operation used by some admins. In normal situation, your members will upgrade account by paying for it (explained in the following documentation). This operation will trigger emails:
