I have all 4 items checked in the WordPress User Integration Settings section so that users in WordPress and eMembers are the same and when logged in one, members are logged in the other too.
The issue is I set a membership level for a user in eMember and I set it in WordPress to match. It will work and the member can log in fine, but once they’ve logged out and try to log in again, they don’t have the same access anymore. I go in and see the WordPress user role is stripped to ‘None’ even though the eMember membership level is still at its proper setting.
What could be causing this and what do I do to make this work?
Thanks for your help.
# Sorry if this is a double post. I couldn’t find my previous post with this issue.
Hi, Do you have any other WordPress user role manager type plugins? What role did you assign to this user? Could you please fill out our contact form on the site to get in touch too? I tried to send you an email to get access to your site so I can check this issue but the email bounced back.
This site is set up as a company intranet and I do have user capabilities set up with Simple Intranet plugin, but it doesn’t change roles. User roles are otherwise only set with WordPress or WP eMember. The role is ‘Head Office’.
Sorry, my email has been having issues lately. I will try sending you an email using the contact form.
Update Turned out to be an issue with the “simple intranet” plugin that was being used for managing WP User roles.
