Hi,
I expected to have to unsubscribe expired members manually from AWeber lists, but I’ve noticed that the AWeber API apparently lets apps unsubscribe subscribers:

Is there any possibility of eMember being able to unsubscribe a member from a list automatically? If not with AWeber, perhaps with Mail Chimp?
I want to add a feature that can handle this but at the moment AWeber’s API does a HTTP GET (which is insecure). So if anyone wanted to intentionally cancel someone else’s account, he can do it just by looking at the data that gets posted. AWeber is suppose to introduce another method that uses the HTTP POST (this is more secure).
That sounds promising. It would be an awesome feature to have. It would be great if MailChimp’s API could be used in the same way.
Did Aweber introduce the HTTP POST method yet?
Nope.
ok its been a few years just wondering if anything has come of this. manually removing from the list is not the best option as some of them unsubscribe and then the subscription is still active until the next billing date.
I see the option to forward the IPN to a 3rd party but from aweber its a webhook address and imputing it in the url does not unsubscribe them from the aweber list.
