Hi,
I am trying to create an album and place all my galleries in it. However every time I go to create an album all goes well until I choose or upload an image for the album.
I then recieve this…
403 Forbidden
Access to this resource on the server is denied!
I have tried many different images which are on the server but none work.
Any ideas
Thanks
July 14, 2014 at 6:10 am #64312PeterMemberThat is odd.
Exactly at which stage does that error occur? Is it after you select the image from the image uploader popup or when you try and save the album?
I have tried reproducing this on my test site and I haven’t been able to.
Do you have some kind of firewall on your server?
Do you see any issues when uploading and selecting images for galleries?

February 1, 2016 at 12:48 am #64314PeterMemberHi,
I can’t reproduce this.
Do you have some kind of firewall on your server?
Do you see any issues when uploading and selecting images for galleries?
Can you try doing some plugin conflict tests to see if something might be interfering with this?
Deactivate all other plugins except photo seller and try again to see if problem goes away.

July 2, 2016 at 12:19 am #64315RaliRSpectatorI just bought and installed Photo Seller plug-in. I have a number of issues that I am not able to resolve.
1. After installation and creation of galleries, when I clicked on an image, it just went to a blank page and did not give any product details though there is a product details page.
2. As I played around to figure out how to solve it, I deleted what I thought were old pages i had created and were superfluous. Now when i choose (click) on any of the galleries, I get “oops! That page cannot be found”. I am not able to figure out what page is assigned to each of the links nor how to reassign to a new page.
3. I also tried to create an album out of the 3 galleries I am playing with. When I try to create an album by filling out the relevant info, no album is created.
My website is still under development and I have not made it available for viewing. However if you need to be able to see it, please let me know and I will make it open for viewing.
Thank you for your prompt help.
Lastly, is it worthwhile to completely deactivate and remove the plugin and reinstall it?
Best Regards,
RaliR

This might be due to your server not having enough memory. What is your server setting value for PHP memory_limit?
Can you check your server error log file and let me know if you see any fatal errors?
(if you don’t know how to get the above info ask your host support people to help you).
For your point number 2 – please do not delete any pages in future.
To fix this page not found issue go to
WP Photo Seller >> Admin Functions and click the Regenerate Default Pages button.
For point 3 – I think you should first fix the above two things and we will look at this later.
(After you do the above please send the link to your gallery page so I can see it)
July 2, 2016 at 9:20 am #64317RaliRSpectatorHi Peter,
Thank you for your quick response.
I am not sure where to look to get the PHP memory_limit value. But I installed a Server IP & Memory Usage plug in and that gave me the following:
Memory: 31.33 of 64 MB (49%) | WP LIMIT: 40 MB | IP (hostingprod.com) | PHP 5.3.6 @32BitOS Version 4.5.3
In playing around with the plug-in, I had already tried Regenerating Default pages. All it did was create multiple product details pages and photo gallery pages, but did not solve the “Page not found” error.
I was also able to create album. I was hoping this would give me a work around, but alas, no.
I have opened up my site for you to look at. It is “www.spiralidesigns.com”
This morning, a new problem cropped up. Now when I click on individual images in the gallery, I get the “page not found error”.
Thank you for your help and feedback.
Best Regards,
RaliR
July 2, 2016 at 2:28 pm #64318RaliRSpectatorHi Peter,
Update from my response above. Since then, I have increased the PHP memory limit to 64 M. I also redid the Default Pages regeneration. I tried my website after that. Now when I click on the galleries, they lead me to the thumbnails, no more “Page Not Found” error. However, the problem persists with the Album. Also when I click on individual thumbnails, it takes me to a totally blank white page and just stays there.
I am still kind of new to WordPress, stumbling my way through it. How high can you go with the PHP memory limit? Should I increase it to 128M? Can I?
Thank you for your help. Since I have not been able to get beyond thumbnails in the gallery, I cannot test all the ordering related features, including pricing, cart, etc.
Best Regards,
RaliR

You will be happy to know that the issues are resolving themselves slowly.
I increased the PHP memory limit to 1024M. That seems to have taken care of presenting the product details. I will continue to play with the site and will bother only if I run into any more problems.
Just one quick question. In setting up a price list for my “photos” of various sizes (there are 4) and 2 orientations (Portrait & Landscape), i set it up as 8 variations. Obviously, there is no price variation for the portrait vs landscape. Is there a way to set up the orientation variation without it being part of the price list. I hope I am making sense. Please respond when you have a moment.
Thank you. Have good hiliday.

July 3, 2016 at 1:16 am #64320PeterMemberHi RaliR,
Good to hear you are up and running.
Is there a way to set up the orientation variation without it being part of the price list.
I don’t quite understand your question – can you please explain a bit more by giving an example scenario?
Are you referring to physical or digital variations?
July 3, 2016 at 2:11 am #64321RaliRSpectatorPeter,
Currently my price list has 8 choices and 8 prices as follows:
size1 (landscape) $10
size2 (landscape) $20
size3 (landscape) $40
size4 (landscape) $60
size1 (portrait $10
size2 (portrait) $20
size3 (portrait) $40
size4 (portrait) $60
Ideally I would like to make the pricelist as follows:
size1 $10
size2 $20
size3 $40
size4 $60
○ Portrait
○ Landscape
Is there a way to do this in Photo Seller.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
RaliR
July 4, 2016 at 3:11 am #64322PeterMemberOk I think I now understand what you are trying to do but the price list functionality doesn’t quite work that way at the moment.
The plugin will upload images as they appear – ie, if they are uploaded as portrait then that is how they will appear in the gallery photo details page and same goes for landscape.
Therefore as a workaround, since your prices for portrait and landscape and are exactly the same, just upload a portrait and landscape version of each of the images you wish to offer in these configurations and then in your price list just put:
size1 $10
size2 $20
size3 $40
size4 $60
If you wish you can also put the “portrait” or “landscape” keywords in the image meta tags and the plugin will pick them up and display that for your customers and these will also be picked up by our search functionality.
July 4, 2016 at 5:29 pm #64323RaliRSpectatorPeter,
I am back again with the “Oops! Page Not Found” error.
I was adding more images to the gallery and creating albums. Once I created the albums, the page not found error came up. So I went back and deleted the albums, hoping that that would take care of it. Recreating the pages by Admin functions only adds to the problem in the sense that every recreation generates an extra Product Details page. After I ended up with 4 Product Details page, I deleted the duplicate pages.
I also tried deactivating the plugin and reactivaing, but in vain.
Perhaps, some procedure for troubleshooting Page Not Found error might be helpful.
Lastly, is there a general documentation on the plug-in? Your support section is not detailed enough to give an overview of how to use the plug-in.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
RaliR
