MemberI finally got the larger, zipped files to download – now I can’t open them! I’m using Chrome. Error message says “unable to expand” error 2.

ModeratorPlease enable the debug logging for eStore. Then perform a download test. Next, please look in the download_manager_debug.log file. What does it say?

MemberNothing. That is it.
Could it be there was %20 in the file names? I copied URL address from filezilla. Do I need to take %20 out and put hyphens in?

ModeratorOkay, let’s try to simplify the test conditions. If you click the “Reset Debug Log Files” button. You should find a “Log File Rest” message in the download_manager_debug.log file. If you don’t see that message, in that log file, there is a deeper problem.
Next, using the eStore Admin Functions, please generate a download link for the product. Then, copy the generated URL to the address bar of your browser and try to download the file.
Then, look in the download_manager_debug.log file for messages; besides the reset message. What do the messages say?
Note: You may have to refresh the browser page, when viewing the log file.

MemberJust found out from hosting company that I need to use ” _ ” in my file names so that the %20 doesn’t go in. It was my error, I believe, in how I named. Will try now with WP estore.

KeymasterNot using spaces in the file name (URLs shouldn’t have space) is also explained in the checklist:
