The problem I am having is that once the user buys my private training they get the registration link as normal, but when the user clicks on the registration link noting happens.. it takes you the join/register page asking to join. It even says Free Membership is not available. Which is correct.I am not offering the free membership.

It does NOT give the user the option to create there own username.

When I check the dashboard I see there info as a new member, but No user name. When I tried to edit the file the username box is grey and unable to add.

    my sales page is here.

    Please help.

    thanks

Hi Edgar, Do you have any security or firewall plugins installed on your site?

Can you please watch the 3rd and the 4th videos from the following page and tell me if you are getting the unique registration link as expected:

You can go to the “Admin Functions” menu of the membership plugin and generate the registration completion link for a member who hasn’t completed the registration yet. Can create one now and share the link so I can investigate it?

It was working fine in the pass when I had it as a Monthly subscription, when I switch to a One time Buy now it stop working..

I first I thought it was another plugin causing the problem, but I deactivated ALL my plugins and left eMember and eStore and I continue to have the same problem.

I then upgraded my plugins the new version, currently running. Version v8.6.6 & Version v6.9.8.1 and noting.. same issue.

I am currently using Extra Shortcodes for WP eStore for my buy buttons. [http://www.your-domain.com/?wp_eStore_buy_now=1]

My Reference Text field in the eStore is correct it matches my Membership Level.

I created the registration link for you. You will see that it dosent give you the option to register or select a user name.

Thank you for that link… I can see the issue now. When you click on that unique registration link do you see how your site is stripping the following query parameter from the URL?

    ?member_id=40&code=2dbbc72bb729dcfa0a4bb86a80bc81f2

Thats what is causing the issue. This is usually the work of a security or a firewall plugin. Temporarily deactivate that plugin and try that link again.

If you find that a security or a firewall plugin was causing it then try our security plugin instead:

I am not using any security or firewall plugins, but I found the problem.

I deactivated/activated every single plugin and it was:

WordPress SEO Version 1.4.7 | By Joost de Valk

which is a shocker… time to find a new SEO plugin.

Thank you so much for your help. Issue Resolve.

You don’t have to find another SEO plugin, uncheck the following option in that plugin.

Permalinks -> Redirect ugly URL's to clean permalinks.

The above option is not a recommended one to enable anyway as it can break the query parameter functionality.
