MemberHi,
Concerning the OTO question, I need a confirmation. Knowing that with the same affiliate link, any sale (on different products, on the same domain) will be attributed to the affiliate, is it possible to have an OTO instead of the thank you page and will the commission still be attributed to the referer ?
Second question, concerning the embedded affiliate area in a blog where there is a membership : will the two areas be totally separated or is there a risk that they would mix together ? I want to have the members on one side an the affiliates on another, is it possible ? I’m using the Profits Theme feature to protect my contents.
Many thanks for your help, best regards,
Alexandra

ParticipantYes, any sale (on different products, on the same domain) will be attributed to the affiliate as long as the sale happens withing the cookie duration time (you can control this cookie duration from the settings menu). The affiliate area is separate and should not get mixed up with a membership area.

MemberHi, many thanks for your reply.
Ok, so it will work for an OTO, i.e a special offer that comes just after the first purchase. Great !
It’s perfect if the two areas don’t mix together. I’m gonna test it right now.
Again, thanks !

MemberHello,
I think the OP was asking what I need to know, but since I am not sure, I need to ask anyway.
So, if I have an offer where people click an Affiliates link then they Opt-in to the offer for free then they get a Thank You page that has another (paid) offer…will that Affiliate (the original referrer) be credited with that sale even though it is like a secondary action? All of this would be done on the same domain, but different pages..
Thanks for your help in advance

ParticipantYes, once someone clicks an affiliate link, any purchase that person makes on that site is attributed to that referrer given the sale was made within the cookie life time value.
